Does it work on an LB?

My LB is showing signs of being tired, I am wondering it it is worth buying a battery charger with this repair mode.

I've got a Ctek MSX5 which is very good, I think you need to keep it on for several weeks to let it go through its full cycle. It's on my 911 which only comes out to play in the summer time. But it does depend upon your requirements. Call Ctek and ask?

I use the Ctek charger on SWMBO`s Mobility scooter batteries (2x12v40a) about twice a Year. They are now in excess of 5 years old, and still going. I split the batteries, when they need a charge, and charge them 1 at a time for a couple of days or more each on the "repair" setting.

Much better to buy a new battery and then you know you have a reliable source of power.

My opinion, if you think the battery if failing I would replace it before attempting to get a bit more from it.
Reviving a battery isn't going to give it a new life, it may extend it for a short time

True, but I've no trips planned for a while, I might as well try to extend the battery's life. When I get back on the road, I'll do the necessary. Meanwhile, I'd like to see if it would work.

IMO just wasting money.

I think when a battery is sulphated and fooked it's fooked. No charger is going to rescue it.

I have a couple of Optimates and I rely on them to keep batteries topped up in the winter but I would not rely on them to rescue a battery.
