Not overly worried but have had the moho stood on the forecourt for two weeks now , unplugged in (as apparently leaving plugged in is bad for the batteries ) . Have had a 20% drop in the leisure battery and about 10% on the cab ) - Both acid . So the question is - is this pretty much the norm and how often and how long do you guys connect yours to the mains when not in use?
 
Mine stays connected all the time in the winter, when the sun is low, and is on charge all the time from solar during the summer.
The mains charger and the solar are both smart, so go to float once the batteries are charged, always done it that way for years, 6 caravans 3 motorhomes, never had a battery fail early.
 
Mine has some fancy gizmos and electronics connected to modules all over the van. They add loads of detail to the Truma iNet app. But unfortunately it'll flatten a battery a couple of weeks even with everything the main panel switched off. I have a ~150w solar panel. But the van is parked so now it's November, it's receiving almost no direct sunlight, even on clear days. I'm either going to have to drive it a good distance every other week, or plug it in soon.

Mine is plugged in summer & winter + 200w solar which alone keeps batteries charged but not 220v for the fridge
 
The rate at which the batteries decline will depend on parasitic drain (eg alarm). It could be that their capacities are falling. In cold weather capacity will drop off even more.
How are you determining the capacity?
Recharging once a month ought to be enough to compensate.

really depends what loads you have left on and how big your leisure battery is (20% on 200Ah is twice as much drain as 20% on a 100Ah battery, for example).
I leave my van physically plugged in and turn on the charger occasionally to recharge.
Load wise, if I turn the standard habitation electrics off, I lose around 25Ah/Day. in two weeks (14 days), that would be 300Ah, so quite a bit really, but I doubt that is the norm (got lots of system monitoring kit :) )

Having it plugged in is really no different to having solar panels really.. OK, they are 'switched off' at night but....................
