Has anyone changed the sink in their bathroom? The sink in our MoHo is very on trend, but frankly it’s a pain, as there is a very narrow gap at the back, which you constantly have to keep a cloth behind it, to mop up the drips. Just wondered if anyone has tried putting in a new sink.

Maybe get some thin acrylic sheeting to whatever size and seal that in place over the gap, something like a splash back👍

There are rubber strips with V shaped prongs to hold them in place - usually for sealing gap at bottom of windscreen to dash for example. Maybe something like that would fill the gap?

I had a 5mm gap between the sink and back wall

I just sealed it with clear silicone

Sally makes the same mistake. When she mentions the bathroom in our Moho I ask her where the bath is as the brochure didn’t mention it😏

Not just me then. No bathroom without a bath, and a sink is in a kitchen, and a basin is in a bathroom, shower room, or en-suite

Do agree with the idea of loosing the gap with sealer if required, by isn’t the water staying in the basin? Is the tap too powerful, or drips from hands whist operating tap?

Looks like something you'd weigh a baby in! Flipping designers who never have to use or clean them! I'd be sorely tempted to remove it and fit a proper one that fits the space without leaving gaps at the back.

Yes, that’s the one I’m talking about. Completely ridiculous. All very trendy, but not really practical. We can only asssume that the people who design the bathrooms in Motorhomes and caravans, never actually use them.

Some bathroom fittings are a tribute to form over function that achieve nothing over a basic basin except to look good in a brochure.
