Just uploaded vaccine passes on Eurotunnel for hubby and kids all verified immediately, mine last on list and this pops up - 'Awaiting manual verification by Eurotunnel staff' anyone had this? Our covid passes are all identical in expiry date etc - do you think they just randomly pick some to be verified?

Mine just passed straight away?

Could try yours again (or did you?)

You never know :giggle:

Yeah I tried it again and did the same thing!!

I did mine today and had the same message. My wife was ok immediately but I had that message and had to wait a couple of hours for an email confirmation. All ok now

Brilliant, that’s the reply I was looking for 😁. Thank you.

Last year had a problem loading hubby & sons, mine went through right away. After several attempts I realised COVID passes had son & hubby’s first name but not middle names. However I had there complete (first, second & surname) listed as passenger, eg API. Once I omitted there second name in API their COVID passes went through straight away. - Took me 4 hours of frustration till I realised what the problem was.

Ha-ah that could well be the problem. On my covid pass my first and middle are hyphenated whereas on my passport & API it shows first and second name!! It’s my fault as I do use it both ways…. little unsure what I can do as don’t seem to be able to change the API and probably shouldn’t as it wouldn’t then match my passport. Think initially will wait and see if gets sorted with manual check - or as Hubby just stated “looks like I’ll be having a fortnight in Folkestone” 😭

Put ours in with plenty of time but they went right down to the evening before we travelled.
Hubby looked at what he had sent and we had only sent our last two vaccs so sent all of them again and passed straight away!
Phew!

I thought that France had dropped the need for any documentation

Looked to have dropped the declaration confirming you have no symptoms etc but still need to provide proof of vaccination. It’s only just changed as it was still telling me to upload it earlier in the week then it disappeared!!

So the honour statement is no longer needed?

We crossed by ferry on the 5th April and the Honour form had been scrapped by then. French border force only interested in vaccine status and passports.

The last time we went to France we uploaded the Covid passes, the approval came through, but when we got to the terminal we had to go through the whole manual check thing as well!

I am glad we are resident in Europe and not subject to ferry queues, paperwork etc.

We just have to ensure we have our passports/identity cards and vacs certs then drive. We are covered if stopped but even that is unlikely.

I feel sorry for those having to cross the water.
