Avtex tv not working

Hey guys and girls. Has anyone had this problem. Switch the tv on by bottom switch and the standby light turns green instantly but remote doesn’t turn the tv into standby and there is no picture or sound. Like the tv is completely dead apart from the green light. Any help please. Will be calling avtex Monday but just wondering if anyone has had this problem

Yea brand new batteries but even the buttons seam dead on the tv.

12 straight from cigarette lighter using original lead. Tried the leisure battery sockets and even the main engine 12v socket incase it could have been a volt drop. Was working fine this morning then turned it off with the remote and now just dead

They won’t power up or there isn’t enough voltage . Do you have the mains lead ?

No, when we bought it it didn’t come with one but it’s got 13.7 volts at the cable end where it connects to the tv

We had similar issue with the Avtec TV. phoned and spoke to engineer explained the issues (as you have above) really helpful. Told me the screen has packed up and it would cost £146 including collection repair and redelivery back to me. collected on Tuesday back with me on Thursday via DPD.
