Anybody know what accessory this lead is for? It’s in the battery compartment of an Autotrail Delaware (2018).

It’s an often asked question, to which I’ve never seen a definitive answer, but I’ve the same cable in the battery bay of my 2013 Ducato, and I’ve seen the same post from people with much newer (2022 etc) vans.
So whilst I can’t answer the question, at least it should be nothing to worry about!

Nothing broke! Don’t try to fix it! 
It’s a standard harness and that bit is not used on your and many other models.
