Looking to get a Kampa 390L pro air awning for our 2012 Comanche. Kampa say you need a 12cm gap above the door which we don't have.
I still think it may be possible to fit as the centre air beam will be to the right of the door.
Has anybody seen or got one fitted to an older comanche or cheyenne.

Personally I take the guide with a pinch of salt. Made a Sunncamp 390 fit my wind-out awning rail. Doesn't fit properly at ground level but works well enough for us. Specification says rail should be at least 15cm higher than it is.

Ours has potential for 5 air bars but we only use 3. Don't know the Kampa design well enough to advise further. Only paid £75 for our air awning......

It has a slight leak on the really long main beam, but only needs topping up twice a day so happy for now. New one is £65 approx from Towsure if I wanted to.

I like to browse Gumtree, eBay, Amazon, Facebook Marketplace etc.... And spot those deals others seem to miss like no good pictures, like auction that finish on a Tuesday at 11am when most people are at work etc....
