Hi, does anyone have a location for firmware updates to the 13ELE2000? I am not looking for map updates but the base unit firmware. Google has let me down and am fairly convinced any manufacturer of that unit gave up posting software updates many years ago.

Thought I would try here on the off chance someone has a file location somewhere. Thanks.

The units were bought in by AT from a Chinese company and, if truth be told, are woeful for the £1k they cost!
I don't think there were any firmware updates, but could be wrong, and with the unit being so bad most owners just swapped them out for an aftermarket unit.

When AT \ their dealers stopped supporting the units this company took over but not sure if they still do.

If I were you I'd bite the bullet and replace with a.n.other unit. If you do, the difficulty may be getting one with a built in DVB-T TV tuner to drive the dropdown monitor between the cab seats.

Hi Gellyneck, thanks, yes it's already on the cards. My challenge has been speaking to any suppliers locally in Solihull that know their way around that age of kit. Luckily today I called up Broad Lane Leisure in Kenilworth and they gave me the details of their guy that they sub out electrical work to. I've called him and he knew exactly what the system was and has agreed to get in touch next week to come and look at options. It's beyond my skills to start pulling all that about and to be honest, I also don't have the time. I am happy to pay someone to do it for me. The current head units days are numbered and it'll be melted down into a pendant very soon. I was just hoping to do something with it in the short term as the damned thing won't turn off all the time and the flip down motor only extends the screen. I have to turn it off to get the screen to retract and reset the whole thing recently to turn it off, well last night anyway. I finally figured out my way around the two TV systems but I'm also going to get a new drop down screen fitted as the current one looks like a Windows 3.1 screen. I just hate old tech but have to pay to satisfy my need.

I have previously contacted Les Evans & Son but they wanted £1300 for a Clarion system that didn't even have any phone compatibility.

I replaced my Mohawk system with an Extrons unit that has the DVB tuner built in , but it looks like they only sell the DVB-T tuners separately now. Any good car entertainment specialists should be able to sort you out.
