Have tried twice to fill my autogas bottle at a flogas filling station. The bottle is definitely empty,(dial shows empty)it should weigh about 17 kg full it's about 6kg. Have chatted to Autogas2000 and on the route of fault finding. Has anyone experienced the same problem?Have I missed something....My gut feeling is the bayonet fitting is faulty. Any thoughts

We had similar issues after a Motorhome dealer moved our Alugas system to a new van from our previous van. In our case, the screws used for mounting the refill point were too long and protruding so the LPG pump nozzle could not connect properly.

I went to one filling station and nothing happened, I tried it 3 times before the attendant came out to rescue me. He apologised and said I was the first customer of the day and it sometimes took a couple of minutes for the liquid gas to reach the pump from the tank. Sure enough I kept the button pushed and eventually it started to fill. On another occasion I met a style of pump I hadn’t previously met and hadn’t noticed the trigger lock that needed to be engaged after pulling the trigger but before pressing the button, operator error.

Good point thanks, i tried 3 times yesterday attendant came out and pump was reset from cashier

I find, sometimes, that you have to keep the button on the pump pressed for quite a long time before the gas starts to flow. I was caught out a few times before I worked out what was happening!
