For the 2022 season Auto Trail are adding to their Ford Chassis cab based stable.

Enter the F68. As the moniker suggests the new member of the band is 6.8 metres long and has a floorplan near identical to the Imala 625, Tracker RL and the now defunct Apache 634.
The U shaped rear lounge offers 2 sleeping arrangements, either 2 generous singles or a 4'9" wide double and there is a dropdown option.

Prices will start at around £51,000 for the base spec and offer a payload of around 600kg.

Wasn't the 634 the model with less than 200Kg payload even when fitted with a 60l diesel tank? Quite liked the layout, so good that it is becoming available at a more sensible weight.

Yep, the 634 on a 3500kg chassis ended up with a 190kg payload. Tribute 625 on 3500kg was 580kg, the current Imala 625 has a 450kg payload, this was 530kg back in 2018.

The new Tracker RL which was brought in when all of the Apache's were phased out has a standard 425kg payload.

These are brochure weights which never match the Mass in Service on the V5 which tend to be around 5% lighter.

Advertised weight of the F60/F62 is 2840kg when in reality it can be as low as 2702kg minus a couple of 6kg gas bottles. Our F70 is 3000kg in the brochure - 2868kg on delivery.

It' so you don't sue the pants off the coachbuilder.
