Astra 2 Transponder turned off? (1 Viewer)

Anyone else having issues with their satellite system locking onto Astra 2? We are currently down at New England bay and when I raised the satellite dish it spun for ages not locking on, with a Oyster Cytrac system. Long story short I just swapped the transponder to one of the other 4 stored in the memory and all is good now. Used transponder 11265 if any one else is having issues. Just thought this could be an old issue as we haven’t used the MoHo for a while because of my illness. If not don’t panic as it’s easy to change the transponder on a Oyster system. Whilst the dish is searching press and hold the right arrow button and tap the left arrow button to change the frequency. Allow a good amount of time to pass if not locked on before moving to the next frequency as it can take a while. HTH.

There is another thread on this. I, along with others have had to update the software of our satellite system as Astra2 has changed something.
