I'm a newbie
We are booked on the 15:45 Plymouth-Santander ferry on the 22nd of June. As we live in Cumbria we are traveling down the day before and hopefully parking up in a pub car park for the night. The pub is only 30 mins from Plymouth so can someone please tell me the earliest we can arrive at the ferry terminal. This is the 1st time using this route, normally go from Dover to Calais

Thank you
Alan

Early as you like just drop onto one of the precheckin lanes. We are often there 10 ish, there is anice marina bar restaurant where you can get breakfast. Or walk into town.

There is only one ferry a day, and plenty of room before check in so should not be a problem to arrive before check in booths open. We only live 20 minutes from the terminal so don't have that problem, but we have seen vans parked up waiting for check in. The Dock restaurant is adjacent to the port if you want a meal

Hi, a good place to walk if you want to spend a little time is Devils Point, great views over the Sound if you want a longer walk you can go to Plymouth Hoe, again great views plenty of eateries on the way.

Agree with above. If you are thinking about parking anywhere else instead, forget it, its a nightmare around that area. We have seen people parked up many hours before the Ferry arrives. Like the above have said, there is a pretty good restaurant right by the terminal. They have a big car park too. Its a proper restaurant, not a cafe at the terminal

I see breakfast is great value at £48.50 each.

Does include a bottle of champagne 🍸

We sailed out from Plymouth on 6th April and they said we can park in the check in lane after the last boat depart, which was 2000h.
