Are there any members from Wooler Northumberland NE71 6PR that could collect a drone for me.
I have just been sent on a wild goose chase of 140 miles to collect a drone .I refused to pay by PayPal because for a private sale there is no protection.
Spoke on the telephone yesterday and arranged to collect today cash get to the house no one home rang his number no reply waited for half an hour when along comes the postman asked him did he know the bloke who lived in the house he showed me the letters different name but correct address spoke to the next door neighbour and guess what they had never heard of him
This one in Northumberland seems genuine and will post today but I am now reluctant to pay by bank transfer after today's debarkle

We are nearby, travelling from Alnwick to a CL near the Holy Island causeway tomorrow, but I really don’t see how it helps. You would still have to pay by bank transfer in advance for the chap to hand it over, I would expect him to come to me not me to him, then somehow we would have to safely store it and transport it home in a PVC to Bristol and you would have to come and collect it. More cost in fuel than postage I expect.
Sometimes you just have to trust people or go for new from a seller with consumer protection.
