Hi all :)
After the big clean, I'm starting to get things back in the MoHo and have remembered that the two plugs for the shower tray need replacing. The fact that we'll probably never use the shower is totally irrelevant :roflmto: I just want him to look all sparkly and new :) Anyway, the two I have used to have grommets on them but they have both perished, so I want to buy some new plugs........but........are sink/shower plugs MoHo-specific or can I just buy any plugs, providing they're the right size, please?

Also, another quick queston. Why are there two plug holes in the shower, instead of just one, please?

Thank you :)

Any plug as long as it's the right size (and looks nice ;)) two plug holes in the shower for people that don't have hydraulic jacks for levelling:LOL:

Thank you! I'll get some nice shiny chrome ones then, instead of the boring white ones that were there before :)

Ah, yes, that makes sense why it's two plugs :)

Well I have a small, 2 medium and a large plug so measure twice and buy once!

(Kids out doing each other).
Nah, nah, nah nah. We have three plugholes in our shower. 😜

I think ot was my Hymer, long ago, which had two drain outlets. As said, very hand for when we parked on uneven ground.

I can only dream of having 2 plug holes in my shower particularly as the one and only is at rear end and van sits naturally nose down on the maxi chassis.

…. By the way, it is worth getting some tight fitting ones as they can stop backward pongs from the grey tank. If you ever get a really bad smell from your washroom, it won’t be the loo!
The best stuff to get rid of that pongy water smell...Orange Cordial...pour it straight down the plugholes..believe me it works...any brand will do..

Why plugs in a shower don’t they stop the water running away and cause it to overflow? It would in my van.

They are normally removed when actually showering 😉
Other times they stop the spiders running up 🕷️…. Oh, that’s at home 🤔😳 Have you seen them coming in now, they are huge!

Hymer do some weird one off sizes of plug holes. I would get some tapered ones made with a top flange to overlap the hole 3d printed in flexible filament

Where would I get some of those from, please?

Why do you want a plug for a shower?
If you want to soak your feet a washing up bowl is far better and you can sit while you do it.
