General enquiry - anyone recommend Alpha Batteries?
e.g. see image - 12v 140ah. I have been offered a couple but not so familiar with the brand.

Thanks all.

find out the weight and compare to a similar sized battery of a known good make that will at least be a guide to their quality all though im sure there was some testing done where they found concrete in them to make them seem like quality

Never heard of 'em.
Only buy batteries from a recognised maker - too many crap batteries out there with fancy sticker on them.

Could be older version of these

Alpha have supplied my business with batteries for the last 2 or 3 years, me generally buy 110ah AGM‘s to run water dispensers at events, but also have bought other batteries for vehicles etc.

I’ve not had one single issue with Alpha, 2 weeks ago I had an issue sourcing a replacement battery for an American car, Alpha had it sorted in no time.

Used them several times. Found them helpful, reliable and good value.

We use the company in the link below. They are one of the largest suppliers of batteries in Europe and the prices are normally excellent. You will be impressed by the way the battery is packed when delivered.

Check they will fit in the space you've got, I know they wouldn't fit in mine even if they weren't too heavy to lift in place.

Bought three 110 Ah AGM batteries from them and fitted them into my Clou Liner. Within seven months, they had all failed. I called Alpha and they asked me to return for testing. The following day, I received a call from them informing me that they had failed prematurely. They indicated that my charging system may not be compatible with AGM batteries and they supplied me with three new 110Ah lead acid batteries. Very good company to deal with.
