They look just what we’re looking for - fold up in a bag and high back.
Are they high enough though? ... looking for something that supports your head/neck when you doze off in the sun ☀️

If there is one expensive/frustrating lesson I have learned over the years, its always try before you buy when it comes to camping chairs. What one person likes, another doesn't, so glad we didn't buy the Isabella Type ones, they look great, but very stiff on the seat, I could never sleep on those.

Being on so many Fun Rallies, and sitting on so many chair types I have learned that price or brand name means nothing, as the expensive ones can be durable, but not that comfortable, especially for long adjurations.
We have a set of two folding camping chairs, cant remember make as they are in the van garage, they are not the ultra expensive ones, once set up they are great, especially as they dont cut the blood off to your legs after a while, as they dont have a bar along the front, but do have solid arms for support.

However, getting them out the bag to unfold, or putting them away, is a faff, especially if not used for a while as I tend to forget the sequence of doing it correctly.

The longer lounger type chairs would be ideal for a snooze, however they are a lot bigger to store and one of ours is very heavy (lafuma) and cost a fortune, must sell it on e bay.
Good luck in your choice, its a minefield out there:confused:

Have lost count of the number of chairs we have had over the years, realise we have been seduced by the'buy 2 for £XX and save' have finally realised that what suits a 5'er is not the same as what suits someone almost a foot taller. Someone might make a killing at the NEC or Peterborough if they offer a discount for a mismatched pair. oh and they have to be suitable for dining at the outside table, but we are also looking at a new one of those.

As said above, you're best trying sitting on them yourself.
Think you might be down Ayr way (?) and if you are I think Black's stock some Outwell models and they have a shop in Ayr (well they used to anyway!).
We've got Outwell Kenai chairs and they're great for us however they're fold flat not in a bag.

Thanks. We’ve got some Outwell Columbia up north which are great too ... very comfy but also fold flat. We might just try them in the van and see if we can pack them easily in the garage. Blacks in Ayr is tiny ... no chairs sadly. Went in last week to try to get my 16yo son a new waterproof jacket but so hard to find anything we ended up in Mountain Warehouse!

I think the Colombia is similar to ours but without the adjustable headrest?
We've got a half-garage in our Savannah and they fit in neatly on top of the other stuff.(y)

I must have done something right last time we bought chairs was 2002 and still using them. :giggle:
What happened Lenny?, did you loose the receipt?:rofl:

2001 for ours! We've tried others too but always go back to the originals as they are so comfy, lightweight and store easily. :giggle:
