Would be really interested to hear from anyone has experienced this ‘fish mouth’ upper cover failure on their Fiamma awning ?

This was fitted by Laika in Italy so I’ve got to assume it’s the right awning .
 
There should be a couple of small brackets fitted mid way along from each end to help prevent this from happening
Worth checking they were not missed
Sorry can't take a photo as we are out and about just now
Looks like a book reading day Friday

Cheers , I think you may be right . Are these the brackets your talking about . Also an upper picture of my awning attached as you can see there is a gap when awning if fully closed which allows the wind in which then lifts the upper cover .
