Wondering if any of the Funsters can recommend somewhere to stay in the Hull area in June for a couple of nights, visiting relatives on the return leg of a trip to Scotland but they don't have space for us at their property and there are parking restrictions where they live

Thanks in advance

When I was still in the fire service we used to train on the Humber using Humber rescue‘a base next to which is a car park that we often saw mohos overnighting at. Just under the north side of the bridge.

Weve used the CL Tudor Springs at Cottingham, just outside Hull. Not on abus route - you would have to walk into Cottingham village for that. It's not spectacular, pitches are on a sort of gravel, a bit weedy when we were there but that didnt worry us.

Looking for somewhere too although late April, also visiting family in Hull and Sunk Island (if we are able). I'll post up if I find anything and of course interested in others ideas too...

Which 'bit' of Hull are you heading for?

Nothing comes to mind, I'll have to have a think.

There's a truck stop at South Kilingholme. Other side the river but just a hop over the bridge.

Just booked Manor Farm.

Was going to suggest Manor Farm to the OP msb03
Walk to the end of Thearne Lane to the bus stop. South takes you towards Hull with stops near Oak Road Playing Field. North takes you to the lovely town of Beverley. East Yorkshire Buses Services 121 or 122 I 🤔 I think.

Kingswood Retail Park is a short drive away for all your shopping requirements!

We've stayed here:

It's on the Lincolnshire side of the bridge but it's a lovely site and we found it very handy for Hull.
