Hi All

Just got back from our first weekend away in new to us Pilote G740 and I checked underneath van and found this cover flapping in the wind (just attached on one side). Although there are drill holes it seems like it was just stuck on! It’s covering what seems to be a rubber drainage point. It’s located drivers side behind rear wheel below the toilet waste container
See photos attached. Would it be a cover to stop mud coming up off the tyre and blocking the rubber pipe?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Old post I know but I still haven’t got around to sticking this back on.
There are holes in the cover so you think that they would screw on. However I cannot see any holes on the underside of the van to screw it into? Any ideas on how to attach??
