In a few weeks we are all travelling eurotunnel/France and into Spain. With an overnight stop just before the Spanish border. Our usual route is 15 hours drive but as we are travelling Saturday eve and testing locally on Friday the 72 hour test rule will make timescales very tight. Is there a testing point at or near the eurotunnel as a search on google shows none. Anyone recently done this trip with the 72 hour rule.

If you are vaccinated then you don't need to test. You just need proof of vaccination.
I think the best thing at the moment is to keep a close eye on the relevant Gov. websites. With the increase in Covid cases rules could change. You can set up alerts for all European countries from this page:
https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice
Just go to the relevant country page and click 'Get email alerts'
We are off to Croatia in a few weeks so I currently have alerts for the eight countries will will travel to!!

Are double jabbed and not booster, so understand jabs don't count so classed as unvacinated seen websites but was after personal experience from you all.

As there is no requirement to have a test to get into France, nor into UK then you'll struggle to get a test as most places will have shut up shop, as no demand. Thinking about it would you not be better trying the get a test near the French/Spanish border where they might be some demand?
I'm assuming you had your second vaccine more than 270 days ago? If you are under 270 days then you don't need a test. Or get a before you go?

Sailed into France from Portsmouth 2 weeks ago. You do need to show proof of vaccination before you are allowed on ferry.

There's no one at the Franco Spanish border to check you - open borders . If anything changes anytime soon I'm sure we will hear about it.

Edit. We passed France into Spain 6 weeks ago and came back 10 days ago

Right might have provided wrong info. If your second dose was less than 9 months ago then as long as you have the proof then you are allowed entry into France without a test. If more than 9 months ago you either need a booster or a covid test. Sorry for confusion, have a look at link below for clarity, if you can call it that!
