Another diesel heater question

Unfortunately I can't seem to link to the ebay ad, it's just a generic 2kw one, the 2kw has a smaller size outlet, I think it's 60mm instead of 75 or 80mm.
Again, the one for the garage will be a generic 5kw one, a tall slim one rather than the boxy one.
To be honest they probably all come from the same factory!

You get what you pay for!

My understanding is, if you buy cheap, then you get cheap! Think about quality and, "How much fuel?"
They gotta be kidding?

Plus, if it breaks down, where to get parts or is it a case of throw away and buy again! Think about the long term.

We just bought a Truma D6E combi at Black Friday price from Jacksons Leisure at a cost of £1600 and that will be my last big buy for a while but I know it will do exactly what I want it to do. Heat water and blow hot air (bit like my wife sometimes :ROFLMAO: ) to warm the van.

In my mind, quality over rules everything else. But that's only if you can afford it.
We were lucky, cos our robbing council has been charging us council tax at band D for 14 years and when I looked into querying it, we are actually a band C. We then had a lump payment of just over £3000 back (no interest mind you!), so half went on the heater. Happy days (y)
How is the 6DE further down the line please? Did you also change the flue to the fanned one?
