Does anyone bother? About to up-plate over 3.5t, anyone had any issues with Monsieur Plod? Can I presume they all assume PVC's are 3.5t or less?

I would carry a couple in case you were ever stopped by the French plod, and if they ask to see your logbook and query the weight and that you have no stickers apologise and pretend you forgot then put them on, and hope that's enough to satisfy them. I don't know what the fine is for not displaying the stickers if they are grumpy and do want to issue a fine.

Ours was not a PVC. It was 3850. Went to and through France many times. The angle morts stayed secured in the cupboard. No issues.

I put them on last winter for our trip to Spain. I had more questions about why I had them on a pvc and people saying it looks ridiculous.

I hated them anyway so off they came. I didn’t see many vans with them on although this year we will have the toad on the back so might comply.

There are quite a lot of PVC vans over 3.5, mainly the posh o es, those at 7 m. I think many Consort vans are over 3.5

Never had them on when I was 5t & tag axle, now 4.5t a class and still wouldn’t have them on
