There is only ONE company that will cover USA I believe and it is shockingly expensive. From memory (I can check) it cost me over £1000 for the 6 months.

if you decide to go I would be very happy to GIFT you my transformer which takes 110v and pops 220v for your Motorhome. It is for sale in classifieds but if you cover the postage you can have it.

I have lots of info on my American trip if you PM me I am happy to share experiences

Sorry for jumping in, but how did you get your MH over there ??

ceejayt thanks for the reply
Taking my carthago to America is something we are thinking of but not for a couple of years. I understand it will cost me more than i could hire one for over there. The thing is i like the idea of taking my own vehicle and all my belongings, scooter, ebikes the lot.

Do you think you did the right thing in taking your own vehicle and if you did it again would you do the same again

definitely take your own if you can. If you are going for 6 months or more it should work out cheaper than hiring for sure.
