Amazon Locker in France - with UK account

No. But pick-up points many times (out of preference) Can't see how the process would differ from UK.

Use the .fr or .de sites assuming what you want is on there.

I did try but couldn’t get it to work on Amazon.uk and when I tried on Amazon.fr I wanted me to open a new account and sign me up to Prime free trial, could t locate local lockers and then take 6 days to get to the campsite I’m staying at so gave up.

If you got it working could you take us through it step be step please.

You should be able to login to amazon.fr using the same login information as .co.uk, I use both, and all my addresses and cards are available so it must be the same account, but if you have prime in the UK I don't think free delivery etc will work on .fr.

We recently used a locker delivery in Spain by logging in to Amazon.es using our UK credentials. It worked fine but still had to go through the same tedious process of avoiding Prime. Also made sure Amazon.es was displaying in English

Yes, as Widge and Sheddy have just posted, Use your amazon.co.uk login details to login.

As you would expect for new customers, it does give you the option to create a new account, but ignore that. Also ignore the Prime offer although that might work if you want to. I don't think our UK Prime applies to France.

The amazon.fr front page has an icon to change the language from French to English. After clicking that you will get the usual (US) english product selection page.

Not yet, but I have been following the Amazon tracking and the pump has now reached the final delivery station, 63 km away.

So, the whole process works, although, as I said above Amazon France need to work on delivery times.
But, we are on holiday and the whole episode is really a Hymer problem, not Amazon.
And, Honfleur has some nice eating houses.

It's worth looking at all the delivery options, often it can be delivered by mondial relay, thay have lockers or pickup points at shops etc, or collis privé who also have the option of pickup points. Or home delivery

The other day Jane had the option of 6 days to an amazon locker, or 3 days to our house or pickup point with collis privé.

I think Amazon do not have the same number of drivers, especially on country routes, compared to other courriers.

it tends to ess around if you try to sig up for prime so dont bother.
It seems it has a conflict if your account deatils already have prime in the uk

they are missing a trick there for me and losing out on 2 prime subscriptions from one customer....or rather 3 in my case cos I use them a lot in france and spain

It depends if it is coming direct from the amazon warehouse or from another supplier for us, also we are out in the sticks so not always so quick.

Worked it out. Find the nearest locker using https://lockermap.com/map then click the link and it added it to my addresses. Still had to order through Amazon.fr and it wanted me to sign up for Prime. After I refused twice it decided to deliver free. Should come on Tuesday at no more cost than if I’d ordered at home in the UK.
