I’m a newbie
Morning everyone
I’m wanting to have alugas auto fill fitted but I need to work out what fits. I’ve been researching and read that without the shroud it’s whatever. Are you allowed legally to remove the shroud. Has anyone got dimensions without if it is legal. Thanks in advance.
kind regards Karen.

The shroud is just the handle, though it would protect the valve in transit. Ours has it removed to get two 11kgs in, done by Autogas2000 near Thirsk. Once they are fitted/fixed the shroud isn’t needed I don’t think.
The dimensions with shroud are on the Autogas2000Ltd website.

Standard practice to remove the shroud when fitting.

The shrouds were removed from the alugas cylinders on both the systems we have had fitted.

That’s a mighty big locker. Looking like 2 11kg for us.
Autogas 2000 near Thirsk are the people to speak to. They will try to fit 14Kg if you really want them, but if they wont fit then they will change for the smaller cylinders.

They are very knowledgable and helpful on the subject, give a Funster discount and will let you stay overnight in their yard.

That's a small locker compared to ours, also the regulator needs to be above the top of the bottles.

This is a proper gas locker, they are 14 kg bottles.

Autogas 2000 fit the systems we had installed. If we are anywhere near them on the way home from a trip we call in to top up the LPG tank :)

It's not the easiest place to find on a first visit as the premises are down what appears to be a wide driveway behind residential houses. In the summer the sign can be obscured by vegetation.
