Alloy wheels and nuts.

Longer nuts? What’s that all about

It’s not longer nuts you need it’s a longer bar.😂

I think he means bolts. If it's a Fiat the shoulder angle is the same the bolts are 2mm longer.

After market alloys on trucks have bigger holes and the nut is longer and goes inside the holes of the wheel, might be what he meant.

Surely it’s bolts we are talking about as wheel nuts left with the Ark😂

Sorry wrong... My 2015 PCV has nuts... unless of coarse you mean just alloys..then yes I agree.😎😎😎

I’m sure most will know this but if you have alloys and your spare is a steel wheel then there is more than a good chance you will need a set of shorter wheel bolts / studs for the steel spare.

Fiat say not!

When I purchased a steel spare wheel for my alloy wheeled Peugeot PPVC I offered it up with the alloy wheel bolts and torqued them up, And they did not bottom out I believe the hubs are not a blind female thread.

They're still pretty common on Dual Rear Wheel. I guess it means you can use the same nuts all round, but have different length studs due to the substantially different thickness of wheel material to clamp down.

HI all on a similar issue i wondered if anyone knew where i could buy locking wheel nuts for my Hymer on a Mercedes chassis . I have just standard wheel nuts , but my problem is i have had an E&P leveling system fit which is just fabulous . My worry is that while my wheels are in the air someone will pinch them! . I think i need M14 by 1.5 thread in a length about 50mm long . I bought some that i thought would fit at 28mm long , to short !!.

I assume you mean bolts, not nuts, given you mention length?
