I have done a quick search of the forum database but could not find a post on this subject. Backend of last year a couple of areas on one of my alloy wheels has started to oxidize where the lacquer coat has been chipped. I phoned with no success local mobile repair people and emailed more with photos but no replies. Is this something a semi competent DIY chap can do or do I need a chap to do it. If so any suggestions in the Stoke on Trent area.

If one has gone like that the others won't be far behind at a guess, I would just get them all blasted off and powder coated, a quick Googles showed a couple of places local to you.
