Hi
We are on our way from Lisbon heading down to the Algarve and was wondering as it gets closer to Easter what to expect ? Is it crammed already with tourists and are dogs generally not allowed on the beach ?
Also concidering going to Gibralter then working back way home through Spainish coastline . If it’s too busy we may prefer going back north through Portugal which was very easy and beautiful beaches .
Our first time down here so appreciate any suggestions thanks

I’d plan to be parked up somewhere before lunchtime the Thursday before Easter to be certain. The motorhome parking doesn’t tend to fill up with Portuguese for any bank holidays but other nationalities may want to be somewhere for the 4 days.

We are there now and lots of the parking has started to quieten down as lots are heading home after the winter away but there are exceptions. We’ve just done a couple of nights in Falesia and although many left each day, it was full again by lunchtime at the latest (10am one day). Quarteira, Parchal and Silves are quieter at the moment.

Thanks for that information . It’s reassuring . We want to see the Algarve but didn’t know what to expect
