I don't believe it! Our portable washing machine gave up yesterday and Aldi have one coming in. Do you think they will post to Italy. :ROFLMAO:

Been looking at those twin tubs, the wife doesn't like launderettes.
Do they work ok ?
£69.99 seems a decent price, £100+ in camping shops

I have ordered one to try it out. Aldi return policy means nothing much to lose if it doesn't do what it says on the packaging.

Not sure if they will post to Italy @Armytwowheels :) if you can wait unto September we can bring one out for you!!!!!!

Yes, I find them very good. The spinner was brilliant on my now defunct one. The machine has been well used and lasted 5 years so I am not complaining, except we have a small mountain of washing that needs doing.

That' very kind but we will stink by then and not in Italy that long.

Are they plumbed in or do you have to keep filling with water to rinse ?

If you want Sandra I can get one for you and drop it off when we meet up for the TDF ?

Thanks Carolyn, really appreciate the offer but I will need one way before then. I will order one from Amazon.it if they offer pick up points in Italy.

By the way, we finishd the Green and Blacks this week and the marmalde has nearly all gone, Colin loves it. Thank you again for our little collection of goodies.

Yes, according to Aldi.

Television seems a reasonable price

Yes, we could do with a tele that has a built in DVD player. No mention of whether it will work on 12 volt or fix to standard motorhome TV bracket though.

Looks like we will have to wait and read the blurb on the box on Sunday.

I bought one of the TV's last year, runs off of 12v or 220v. Very easy to set up and good picture quality, would recommend.

Thanks. That’s good enough for me, just ordered one. And a folding bucket, foot pump and Brief History of Time.

I think we all would like to find a black hole in the back of the van for all the gubbins to go into :)

Either a black hole or an anti gravity drive will do. It’s the weight, not the volume that gives problems! I’m hoping that the 12V TV will be lighter than the 240V one I have in there now, and the folding bucket will be lighter than the B&Q orange shopping basket it will replace.

Does anyone know if the Aldi tv will pick up digital signals abroad with an ordinary arial? We are just changing our van and need to buy a TV for it. I know some TVs sold in the UK will not pick up non-UK TV or digital radio stations.

It has a built-in freeview tuner, I suppose it depends on the frequency used in Europe.

Maybe YOU could go to the launderette?
Oh, it`s not the building she doesn`t like, it`s the thought of her lady frillies undergarments going round in the machine straight after someones had their work overalls go through ! Or maybe something worse, yuk.
She`s a little precious like that.
I`ve had a measure up though and this Aldi washer is a non starter for us, we got nowhere it will fit unfortunately as we don`t have a garage and the underfloor lockers are too shallow.

Ordered the Mini Oven and Caravan kettle online. Dispatched Thursday 21st March and arrived the following day via Hermes courier.
Impressive service
