Hi all.
Turned on heating but didn't seem to warm up at all. Then.....
Got an alert on my alde heating screen. In a frankia i740 Saying "over heating red alert" from mains power. I've done a google search and it says disconnect main power plug on main unit. Then reconnect this should reset it.
1. Not convinced it was working in the first place.
2. I cant locate the main unit to unplug it !
Any ideas
Thanks Lee

I had the the same message on my Alde panel after a problem with a mains hook up in France caused a spike on the 12v. The panel would not respond at all. A phone call to Alde soon sorted it. The fix they asked me to do was disconnect the mains hook up and locate the boiler, lift the black cover on the top of the boiler and disconnect the 2 wire (blue and white) 12v connection for 30secs then reconnect everything.

Give it a try hope it works

The main unit will be your boiler. Or you could just throw the mains switch into your motorhome, or just unplug the hook up lead.

Its not a box its a black cover on the top of the boiler.

They do close for lunch, but I have a feeling they also knock off on Friday afternoons.
Ah..... in my elderly and declining years I forgot it was Friday. Unlike you, it seems....

I think I've sorted it now. .
I unplugged the cable on the unit. That got it going. I got hot water but no heating. I bleed the system. Still not working. I turned the small dial on the pump to number5 that seemed to kick start it. I now have heating. Return dial to setting number 2 and fingers crossed it's still working. I've left on over might and will check again tomorrow..
