I have a friend with an Elddis Aspire, it has Alde heating and he is unsure if he can safely run the heating when the water system has been drained down. I can't answer this one as my van has a Truma system. So any answers are very much appreciated..

Yes you can is the answer as i have seen this question been answered many times and its on the ALDE website.
BUT not something I have personally tried.. Sure others will be along to confirm as well. (y)

I have the alde system and can confirm you can run the heating with no water in the system.

Warms up quicker without water in the boiler.

Hi there,
Yes you can - I sometimes power up the heating through the winter to drive off any damp. Just stick it on low (on hook up) and leave it running till you are done.
Hope that helps
