I was going to attempt this myself but have decided to take it to Alde UK; they quoted the best price beating all the dealers. I should be confident that it is the actual system people who are to do the work but I'm nervous.

Nervous because in this MH getting at the header tank just to top up is difficult let alone changing the fluid and doing all the associated bleeding; bleed points everywhere and most not easily accessible.

We will be taking the van in during out travels so it will be loaded with kit and belongings. Alde have assured me this is not a problem but I am still concerned. I don't want work and/or spillages doing damage. Has anyone had Alde do this work, especially on this make and model? If so your comments will be appreciated.

It’ll be fine. Bet they splice into the system at a drain point, flushing with new fluid. Doubt they will touch the header tank. Also doing it that way there are less air locks to get rid of. They did ours last year. Recommend.

They are a very professional outfit. Nice coffee too (y) (y)

Excellent service from them.

Just out of interest, how much do they charge for a fluid change and bleed through?
I've just paid £150 to a mobile Alde trained service engineer. Took him between 1.5 to 2hrs as he had to circulate it through twice as one of the radiators wasn't getting warm. That included the fluid.
I think I've got 9 radiators in mine from memory.

You have absolutely nothing to worry about. Alde has a very modern facility and generally only work on 2 motorhomes daily.
We had our fluid changed there about 4 weeks ago, a very professional outfit and completed in a couple of hours. Take a book or lunch and sit outside on the picnic table or go for a walk around the estate.

You’re worrying about nothing and second guessing how they’ll do it.

Trust them.

They have quoted £200 all in. Southdowns quoted £294 plus materials and VAT, Chelstons similar.

I don't think that's bad tbh.
My chap didn't use the genuine Alde fluid and used G40 Coolant - which is the same properties as the genuine Alde fluid but not the price tag. So £200 and done by the manufacturer is good.
