Anybody seen these, what rubbish, he doesn't tell you anything interesting you just get a walk around the outside then a look on the inside.

No mention of build quality, payload, winterisation, water/waste capacity, I could go on.

He's surely not a motorhomer is he?
Hopefully he's surely not a member on here as well I hope.

From what I have seen of him he is just a YouTube guy sticking his own views up for others to watch or ignore as they see fit same as numerous others of varying skills and knowledge.

I’m not sure that they are reviews
Just showcases

He often complains about fridges and how they're too big "for a motorhome of this size".

They're definitely not reviews, just his opinion of vehicles.

I think he’s funny, he actually believes his “reviews“ affect the sales of major brands.

He spends 5 mins or so trying to figure out how stuff works, pulling and tugging away, then is he can’t get his head round a feature, declares it crap.

So not really a review guy (zero pre research) more of an enthusiastic tyre kicker.:LOL:

What a relief! I’m busy doing some armchair research before the NEC and came across this guy. I was hoping he wasn’t a voice for the average motorhomer as he is obnoxious and incompetent. Thankfully, I can see his efforts are as well regarded (not!!) as I see them. I now completely disregard and overlook anything he posts and look for other sources- even those in more foreign a language than the one he uses!

MHF is THE source of helpful and experienced online advice so thanks to everyone who takes the time to post their expertise on here-a thoroughly fabulous resource for a newbie like me.(y)

I believe he lives full time in a motorhome, much of it in Poland, is ex military (a Rupert), and speaks several languages. I would agree his presentation style and commentary leave a little bit to be desired, but he does it to keep himself occupied and if you're in the market for a new motorhome at least you can see what they look like inside and out without getting off your chair.
I have to say I find it a bit disappointing that some people feel the need to criticise amateurs who are doing there best to provide informative videos because they don't meet professional standards, if you don't like what he does don't watch his presentations.

We found his videos really useful when compiling a shortlist of motorhones to potentially buy. Especially over here dealers are few and far between, and so for us it was really good to be able to watch a "walk through" of different models. Granted, he is a bit of a pillock on some things, but, I think all of us here, if we're honest, can be at times and, as the "good book" says "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".
At least he's giving it a go, so fair play to him, say I, and if you don't like his output then either just surf on by and don't slag him off behind his back, or be a man and say it to his face.

He does seem to get around most, if not all of the motorhome events which is useful. I just watch his stuff with the sound turned off 🤣

Blimey, the poor guy makes hundreds of motorhome videos and makes his own opinions known and gets slagged off for it! His videos are not really my sort of thing, but fair play to him, some people might find them useful. If you don't like his stuff, fair enough, but maybe rein in the insults?

As others have said, quite useful to see the inside of a lot of M/H's.
He was quite enthusiastic about our model before we bought it.
Still he missed off most of the major reasons we were going for that model though

Met with Alan at Dusseldorf this week, he's a nice chap. His videos are what they are, a quick look around the outside, and a gander within, with Alan's opinion thrown in. You can take it or leave it, but no need to be nasty. And given that he is a Funster here, being anything other than nice is not on.

Well as they say - all publicity is good publicity. On the strength of these negative comments I just went and looked at one of his videos. Certainly has an interesting style of commentary.

I don't mind his videos although they don't really give a lot of stats -tech info, just opinionated overviews
It must be said that I first discovered him during lockdown so I recon that his time
within vehicles was really restricted and probably even today at the shows his time alone within the vehicle will be very limited.. It it were me I'd also do a (PTC) "piece to camera" outside the vehicle to to compensate for the limited "on board" time he has.

That’s life on social media etc take the rough with the smooth .

Not informative enough his videos for me but it’s easy to criticise so best of luck to him, at least he has a go.

Maybe I should have been more tactful in my words when starting this thread so apologies to Alan.

Alan has been doing short videos for many a year. To me, they give the feel of how I would look around what's on offer from the dealers or at shows. I've watched the videos on YouTube from time to time. Good chap.
