Aire theft and breakin

We were at an aire in Hendaye, France next to a train station just to warn others that there was a motorhome broken into also a scooter was stolen off a trailer on another motorhome. Seemingly this is common here. Hope this helps others in the future. Sam and Viv.

The theft could have happened anywhere in broad daylight and not just on an Aire - I don't trust these Johnny Foreigners........

This Aire does sometimes attract the kind of vans you may not wish to associate with. It is also close to a somewhat deprived looking area. I have stayed here but would have moved on sooner if my battery had not died on me.

What have you got against the motoring fraternity ?

I had mate who had an MGB GT 3 door 2+2 Coupe some years ago and he wasn't sexist - usually drunk - but certainly not sexist.
