Aire at San Sebastián

A few months ago a lot of talk of break ins has anybody stayed recently. Should we find a site or is the aire ok?

If you wanted a campsite we have stayed at Camping Orio at Orio. There is a good train link to San Sebastián and also the opposite way too. We loved the tapas at Zarautz, the adjacent seaside town, almost as good as San Sebastián

There is an aire at the stadium Illumbe at San Sebastián although it’s really a car park with emptying point under the flyover, but alright last time we used it.

As long as an event isn’t on, which has happened to us. We have used it before successfully though.

Yes and don’t use your sat nav to find it, ours never did get us there

We're not the break in reports referring to the aire at Santander? BUSBY.

We always save a destination that SatNav has struggled to locate as 'XYZ Aire ACTUAL' by saving the current location. Avoids a repeat of the mental pain on the next visit!

With hindsight maybe was Santander my mistake. Heading north nextweek tests at Pamplona then a stop at San Sebastián then home to work cant wait not

They were referring to the aire in San Sebastian by the university. Great little aire. We have stayed there loads of times when passing thru. Not heard of any issues recently.
