we used to stay at a beautiful aire by a lake in moulismes in France ,drove past last year and its all changed ,there used to be lots of parking by the lake and space for 40 motorhomes.it now looks as if its got only 3 or 4 dedicated spaces and the lake area has a height barrier.has anyone stopped there 2018 and can confirm this as we are heading down that way in march and i like to stop there .it has a nice little cafe and toilets.
many thanks

The aire has been taken over by Camping-Car Parks. 53 spaces, €8.40 per night including electric in March.

thanks for the reply Kiaatu.i think we will still use it as its a nice overnight stopping point.not fussed about using electric.is there an online presence i can look this up on ? do you know.

I see there is a €0.55 tourist tax to add to the price I quoted. Nice place to stop, we used it ourselves for a night, even though we only live 10 minutes away.

5 hours parking for 5 Euros - cheap if you just want to play tennis there. :)

We keep meaning to stop there but when heading south we always seem to get stopped at the traffic lights in Lussac-les-Châteaux a few miles away, see the vans parked in the square by the tourist information office and just pull in.
