New Affinity Camper Van https://www.affinity-rv.eu/ Polish & Swedish (Kabe AB founded 1957) collaberation van conversion currently sold in Belgium, Germany & Switzerland that has some innovative design ideas that may turn up in other vans at some point. It fits a French bed, two adult sized bunk beds suitable for children or teenagers, a garage big enough to store full size bikes, wardrobe, double floor, 1.9m headroom, a continental kitchen with additional work space & loads of storage into a 6.36m long 2.10m wide 2.8m high van! For us adding on a replacement roof section with Skyroof & a narrow & small bathroom with fold down sink are the less desirable trade offs but may suit others. Not keen on the electric French bed as some (Project 2000) have been known to get stuck in previous years but this may be a different make & the resulting garage space with it raised does look great. Induction charging points & kitchen extractor fan are nice features. Priced from €69990 for Peugeot & from €74990 for Fiat models so the luxury end of the market.

Bunk beds - quick & easy to pull out with storage space for bedding below:

The table stows away neatly into a storage area to the wall side of the bed so not in the way:

The French bed lifts up for access, moves back for seated position & more room in the kitchen area & lifts up to a raised position that can be slept on :

Quite a few YouTube videos here https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=affinity+camper+van & a couple of the most informative are below. Having watched a few of these have found out that the added raised roof is ABS, the black sides are added panels making up the 2.10m width & adding space inside, all water pipes are in the raised floor which can also have warm air blown through, Truma 4E heating as standard but diesel alternative is an option, the bathroom has an additional clear plastic two section door for showering, payload is 450kg which is achieved by the "wood" panels being plywood exterior with foam sandwiched inside. When the French bed is fully raised e.g. when bikes in garage whilst it is possible to lie & sleep on the bed if you are tall your head may be directly under the rear cupboards with very little room - this may not be an issue if shorter height or bed only partially raised.

Feel sorry for Martin who was the Affinity staff member who was 6 days on the stand at CMT Stuttgart showing all the features & the beds again & again to everyone - he features on all the videos!

Interesting ... that rear French bed is narrow at 129cm though.

Probably been designed by someone who actually uses a van.
Another manufacturer with some interesting layouts is the French company Font Verdome, have a look at their Mondea..

Reminds me a lot of the original Hymer Exsis models.
