Advice ipad (1 Viewer)

i have just purchased a new iPad the one that has a SIM card could any one tell me what is the best sim to use as I'm off to France in the summer would you wait till france and get one over there as from what I have read while looking here most say you should turn off data when abroard so I'm not to sure what is best any advice wood be grateful

If you are going to France I suggest getting a 3 card here in the UK as there is no extra to pay if you take it to France and you can be sure it is all working before you get there.
