I have a 2009 Adria Vision 707SL and cannot find out how to turn off my fresh water pump. From the main control unit over the habitation door I can turn off all the 12V lights etc and that includes the 12V pump. However if I want to just turn off the water pump by itself it does not seem possible! I have delved deep into instruction manuals, You tube videos etc. but without success. My first thought was to put an on/off switch in the positive feed which would fix the problem and this is certainly possible. However looking at other vans they all seem to have an on/off pump switch. Why not my Adria? Anybody out there who can help me?

Mine is exactly the same, as long as you haven’t any leaks then the pump will not operate,
Turning off the 12 volt unfortunately also stops the toilet flush from working, so I always leave the 12 volt live,

Thank you very much for that information; I was starting to feel that I was going mad! I wonder why they decided not to integrate an on/off switch on this particular model? Thanks for the tip about looe flushing!

I can switch off the pump. But I very rarely bother, I just leave it on all the time. But then my van has microswitches on all the taps (not just pressure based) so even if I do get a leak, it won't pump out. The only time I deliberately turned off the pump was to drain down before a hard frost and I let the taps open to let the air in, but in your situation, I could have just left the power off.

Thats very interesting . However if my fresh water level falls below the minimum level the pump runs all the time. If I turn off the 12V supply then it means I have no lights!

Sounds like you have a pressure based system. So an on/off switch would be handy!

Hi, just found this thread so hope you don’t mind me commenting? We love the look of the Adria Vision having had an Adria motor home before. Are you happy with yours? In the market to buy one but finding one is a different matter! Needs to be the 707SL for the single beds for the kids. Thanks
