Adria Twin - Pre-wired for Reversing Camera - Advice Please (1 Viewer)

Hi All

Our 2018 Adria Twin 600 SP campervan is pre-wired for a reversing camera and the connectors on either end of the cable are 6 pin din connectors as shown in the attached photos. After some research I am lead to believe that Camos cameras use this type of connector. So I have two questions:-

1) Has anyone fitted a Camos camera system to their Adria (or any other MH)?
2) Has anyone fitted a 3rd party camera system to an Adria and somehow converted the connectors from the 6 pin din connectors?

In my Hymer I found the cables after I had run new cables through the van, good job too. New cables cost me £25, adaptors would have cost £80.

Its seems weird that manufacturers bother to pre wire. I was told that they only do it for factory fit options but as it's so easy to do at the time they pre wire all the Van's. Even the dealers don't seem to bother using them and when I went to have a reversing camera fitted at the dealer, they just rewired it completely new as they said they couldn't be bothered with the preinstalled wires.

Thanks Landy Andy but I don't fancy paying that sort of money for convertors that may or may not work.
