I’m thinking of installing a gas take off point for my van to accommodate a small gas bbq. ideally from behind the hob / sliding door.. has anyone done this ?

hi, the connection can be made to any point after the regulator, the cutting of the hole for the bbq point is the most daunting but with the correct cutter and use of tape to prevent scratches or unnecessary body / paint damage is not that difficult.

if i understand you correctly the bbq point would be behind the sliding door if it was open..

if that is true i would reconsider its location. you may not be able to use or access the point when the door is open ( the cover flap is up when in use, also is it likely that you could catch the hose or the cover with the door mechanism.

just looked at the twin layout probably easiest to look behind the fridge for a pipe to tee into
