I have looked and no clips to be seen on the sides. It has a small lug on the base but no mater what I do it does not move. By squeezing the lamp shade part it will move down about 1/4" but will not come off.Been to check. Mine has clips at the top which you can see if you look from the sides. Squeeze both sides gently and it slips down about half an inch then it pulls out. Not sure how to replace broken part thereafter.
Mine moved down that bit then a waggle had it off. I have a Matrix so it is slightly different but would assume same connectors.I have looked and no clips to be seen on the sides. they are an absolute pig to open. we have a Coral and those lights are the only thing about the whole van i dislike.
they open by sliding the bottom section down a short way ......( if you can) then lift off, (if you are lucky).
sorry to be negative but they are not easy to open. you will need a lot of patience and perseverance..
