Thinking of removing the fixed table has anyone done this? if so any problems please.

Did this on my Knaus. When i undid the screws it was still holding on to the floor so needed to give it a good pull , the floor laquer seemed to be holding it. Then you have an unlaqued circle on the floor. The dog appreciated the extra space.
