Hi,

Our 2007 Autocruise doesn't have central locking on the Hab door. There's no wiring or contacts for it so was never fitted

Wondering if anyone has added it to theirs, noticed on a MotoH the other week the door was virtually identical, same handles and lock etc but had CL so wondering if there is a kit to retro fit it.

If the parts are avail then I should be ok fitting it :)

universal actuator kits are available on ebay very cheap

Locking and unlocking control is present on pins 4 and 5 of the conversion socket in the base of the offside B-pillar if the cab was ordered with that option.

Search online for the Fiat Ducato Converters and Upfitters manual. It contains the functional descriptions and wiring diagrams which converters are meant to follow.

Thanks will have a look for that

I know they do universal kits but as its a factory option on some thought maybe could get some proper fitting parts and upgrade it. Universal kits are a bit cheap and nasty sometimes. Will have a look on ebay again

I think you will find the central locking is on a CANBUSS circuit and if you add another lock it will probably throw a wobbly may even need the ECU updating, nothing is simple these days.
Personally I can't see the point we never have the central locking option as we only use the hab door.

Thanks, if is a canbus system then maybe won't bother and just look at it again when we get an alarm fitted...hopefully soon. On yours I can see you'd need to use the Hab door a lot more than we do

New to MH so when I lock cab doors and then find Hab door is still unlocked I thought CL could be useful.

If the converter's socket is present, there are locking and unlocking signals available which are intended for just this sort of thing as Deneb said. No need to bother the ECU, or mutter CanBus incantations! :)

I'll have a check for that socket and probe it to see if signals are there. Did a search for the fitter handbook but only found an x290 one so far and ours is an x250 I think. Will keep looking

The pinouts are the same, but AFAIR they are incorrectly numbered in the X250 documentation so you're probably better off with the one you've got.
