Hi all, I’m planning on adding another mains socket to my Welcome 640 (2018 model).

I’m planning on adding it to the right of the kitchen area, next to the seating, to allow appliances (such as a toaster) to be used on the pop out small table/flap.

Q. Any thoughts / guidance on running power from the existing socket next to the hob/oven and over the right hand side.

At present it looks like I may need to remove the oven/hob to get access to power and then for the new socket.

Any advice will be welcome.

Only if its going behind the cooker to use heat resist flex, the type used on domestic emersion heaters.
Ordinary flex may turn brittle with the heat. Better safe than sorry.
You may have to go to an electrical wholesalers and buy by the meter.

Job done. New socket added to the galley area with feed taken direct from the consumer unit.

The job itself wasn’t difficult, understanding where the cable run/source was going to be was the hard bit.
