Any checks or questions I should ask of the dealer or advice as to the owning and driving of it please as previously been a caravanner.

Make sure you are shown how everything works including all gas appliances. Our first handover the salesman just said this works just like a caravan (we'd been caravaners previously too). We found out when we got home that there were no gas bottles in the MH and that there weren't even any restraining straps. As we were going away we had to go to a local caravan sales place and buy some straps so we could install our own bottles.

Might be a good idea to record the handover on your phone in case you can't remember it all!

Don't be rushed and ensure everything works as it should. One mistake we made was not checking the awning was fault free. We later found there was a tear when it was fully extended. Quite an expensive mistake.

Check around windows. Friend have a Bessie and have had their windows resealed, in a 2012 model.
