Yes I know there's no such place, it's Cumberland/Northumberland and Scotland for this trip.
Extra prep this time.....lots of watering of garden plants and putting screening up in greenhouse.
The tomatoes are coming on well and with this mini heatwave coming they need shading, luckily they are in self watering pots. A lawn cut will be needed, hate to come home to long grass.
Anyway, off at 10am, roadworks (short way of saying cones out no working in sight) going past the rust bucket Angel of the North caused a slight delay. Cross country road A69 from Newcastle to Carlisle although busy is a good road through nice countryside, last few miles on the A689 was a switchback ride but no bother.
Arrived at 12..10.

It's got all the amenities, shower and toilet of a good standard, owners are really friendly and can't grumble at £13 a night for hardstanding no EHU.
WiFi and phone signal excellent.
