600+ Bbc1,s

Fellow camper on site with latest snipe set up.
On Avtex TV

New install first time use.
Will only find 600+ BBC1,s
Any suggestions

Not bad when there are less then 30 BBC channels / regions on UK Astra 2.

But it should pick up BBC2 3 4 News Parliement CBBC Cbeebies as welll, as they share the same frequencies as BBC1, so if it is only getting BBC1s then there is something serious wrong somewhere.

Try a manual scan on another frequency (10906 v SR 22000 FEC 5/6) - and check to make sure this is in the receivers frequency list.
If it picks up the dozen or so ITV channels, then the receiver does work, and it could be something with the autotuning being used.
If it picks up BBC channels, then something somewhere is totally wrong...(lnb settings?)

Havre you checked all these channels are BBC 1. Could be a fault with the channel listing on the TV

I've seen this a few times. Normally I can fix it by deleting the transponder list and loading at again manually from Kingofsat, scan and then everything comes back. I'm not 100% sure but I get the feeling that duplicated transponders in some TV's can cause it. Every one I've done has quite a few duplicates.
