Hi, we have a quick question to anyone who has an Escape 2020 model with a key operated toilet door lock, does your habitation key operate this lock or was another key supplied? Our habitation key did operate the lock (dealer said habitation key operated all locker and door locks) but the lock started to fall apart.
Dealer replaced lock under warranty and supplied a key that is just a piece of metal that could be off a tin of corned beef, we have rejected this and said we want a like for like replacement.
Today the dealer has emailed quoting Swift - "Having spoken to Swift they have said that the external locker key has never been for operation of the bathroom door" 2nd
We would just like some clarity either way.
