We are close to agreeing a deal to change our lovely Chausson 718 to a new Burstner Lyseo 736. The Chausson has been a great van but after 3 years we feel the time has come to invest in the German brand. The deal we have been offered by Emm Bee is very fair and we feel if we don't do it now we probably never will!

Any thoughts on the Lyseo before we head off to Emm Bee on Sunday would be really welcome.

Thanks all.

Cannot comment on the Lyseo but the workmanship on the Burstner is excellent to my mind.

Just make sure it is not the stolen one from Camper UK! No insinuation that the dealer you mention is selling anything dodgy, it's just such a coincidence.

No opinion on the model - but we bought a new Burstner Harmony 728G at 2017 NEC exhibition, following much research.
Build quality is excellent - Completely trouble free.
Good luck.

You can't beat a Burstner --------- as good as any and better than most.

Which layout?

Buy it!
We have a Lyseo Harmony Line 736G, we bought it ( in France) a couple of months ago, it’s a Limited Edition with silver cab.
We have now covered around 3200 miles and had zero issues with it.
Ours came with all the extra packs and a few other extras including an auto satellite system with tv and an electric drop down bed over the lounge.
The layout suits us perfectly, we had the weight updated to 3850kg and a bike rack fitted too.

The best thing about is was the price. Around £10K less than UK prices

We love it, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

If I can help with any questions about the van, just ask.

Thanks all. Some reassuring comments there.

Allan - the one we're after doesn't have the silver cab which we would have preferred. That said the rest of it looks lovely and it's very well equipped. Does yours have the 150 engine upgrade? This one is a standard 130 and I'm a bit nervous about it as it's on the upgraded 3850kg chassis. Our current 3,500kg Chausson has the 150 upgrade which is excellent. Thanks

We bought the 728g new in July and absolutely adore it. We got the 130 (there was a 150 at another dealer but Camper UK gave us a brilliant deal) and although you use the gears a bit more she cruises beautifully in top. We've put about 4000 miles on the clock since buying her.

Ours is the 130 too. It cruises easily at legal speed limits and may need a down change to fifth on long steep hills, but overall we are more than happy with it.
We are getting around 27 mpg which is perfectly acceptable.

We have the the Lyseo 744 upgraded to 3850kg on the 130 and it drives lovely not had any issues great van :D

You will not go wrong buying a Burstner. We purchased a Burstner Solano new in 2007 but after 5 years wanted a change of layout so changed to a Bessacar 745 what a mistake. After 18 months changed back to a Burstner Delfin which is know 12 years old (as photo) well put together and will keep as long as I can keep C1 on driving licence owing to being over 3.5 t and me over 71.(y)

We are on our second Burstner. The 1st was an eight year old solans Andy other than a few paint issues there was not a thing wrong with it. We are now on our second a 2014 van aside from one recurring coolant leak, there is not a thing wrong with it.

Did you buy it?

Well the deed is done! Deposit paid van expected early May. Very impressed with the Burstner inside and out. Dealer was very good too, no hard sell just left us to it for over 2 hours followed by a little haggle. Thanks for all the comments. Role on May!

Good news, I bet you can’t wait.
The weather should be warming up nicely when you pick it up.
